UPSD, Dünya Sanat Günü’nün ikinci kutlamasında ünlü sanatçı Prof. Özdemir ALTAN’a, tüm kariyeri üzerinden ‘’sanata yaptığı katkılardan dolayı’’ şükran plaketi verdi. Özdemir ALTAN, ödülünü Bağdat Caddesi’nde gerçekleşen Bulutsuzluk Özlemi konseri öncesinde, Kadıköy Belediye Başkanı Selami ÖZTÜRK ve Bedri BAYKAM’dan aldı. Sanatçı yaptığı konuşmada kendi meslek grubunun en önemli örgütünden aldığı bu ödülün, hayatının en değerli takdiri olduğunu vurgulayarak, izleyicilerle mutluluğunu paylaştı.
On the second World Art Day celebrations, the honour plate was given to Prof. Özdemir ALTAN due to the ‘contributions he made to the art world over his career’. Prof. ALTAN was received the prize from the hands of the Mayor of Kadıköy, Selami ÖZTÜRK and Bedri BAYKAM, the President of the Turkish Plastic Arts Association which is the most widely spread Turkish professional artist association, before the concert of Turkish famous rock band Bulutsuzluk Özlemi, on the famous major Bağdat Avenue. At his speech Prof. ALTAN underlined the value of this prize given to him by the most influent members of his profession, the UPSD association.
